Why do you charge $1,000?
Many “free” car buying services are paid by dealerships or take a share of the savings they negotiate. That creates incentives that don’t align with the buyer’s best interest.
We believe your advocate should work only for you.
Our fee structure ensures our only objective is to get you the best possible outcome; not to please dealers, manufacturers, or referral partners.
Advocating for our customers isn’t just a slogan. It’s our business model.
Why do you charge upfront instead of at the end?
Charging when the deal is done creates an incentive to push customers to buy a vehicle and encourages us to rush you through the process as quickly as possible. We don’t want to do that, and don’t want you to have to worry about any ulterior motivations. Maybe right now isn’t the best time to get the best price on a specific vehicle. We’ll tell you that, and we’ll happily help you now or later based on your priorities.
Why don’t you charge a percentage of savings?
A percentage fee creates an incentive to push more expensive vehicles and options. That works against your interests and undermines trust.
A flat fee keeps our advice objective and simple: We win when you get the best deal regardless of price.
Do you guarantee specific savings?
No, and that’s intentional.
First: “Savings” is a vague and misleading concept.
Compared to what? MSRP? The dealer’s first offer? Online pricing tools funded by dealerships? There are many ways to calculate “savings,” and most of them are designed to confuse buyers.
Second: Most clients value their time and peace of mind as much or more than their money saved.
We save you hours (or days), eliminate stress, and protect you from being taken advantage of. The financial benefit is real, but it’s only part of the value.
Third: Some vehicles are rare or limited.
When there are only a few available nationwide, the primary challenge is sourcing the vehicle itself. In those cases, negotiation leverage is limited, but access and execution matter most.
Our goal is always the same: Get you the best possible outcome given the real market conditions — not marketing promises.
Is Cars Acquired a “Car Broker”?
No. Cars Acquired is not a car broker.
Traditional car brokers are often paid by dealerships, receive commissions, or mark up vehicles after negotiating a lower price. Many also insert themselves directly into the transaction by running your credit, acting as the seller, or reselling the vehicle at a profit. This creates conflicts of interest and makes it hard to know whose interests they are really serving.
Cars Acquired works only for the buyer.
We are professional negotiators and consultants. We never take money from dealerships or manufacturers, and we never insert ourselves into your transaction.
When you approve a deal, you sign your paperwork directly with the dealership. We simply represent you during the process to ensure you get the best possible outcome.
